News feed instead of alert list
The dashboard in Security Lighthouse 5 offers its users a news feed as a widget which keeps them informed of various alerts and security advisories.
Browser without limitations
Whereas up to Version 4 .NET Framework was still considered preferable on workplace computers, the new version takes account of market developments that demand a completely new operating system-independent Internet application for information processing. Accordingly Security Lighthouse can be used in Firefox on various operating system and in Internet Explorer under Windows (supported versions on request). The release for Safari under iPad and Google Chrome is scheduled to take place in the first quarter of 2012.
